2024IoT Solar Dryer with Hybrid Energy Switching
Thesis project: a sensor-driven solar dryer that switches automatically between solar and grid power to keep drying conditions stable.
Built under NDA
Screens, code, and the client's name aren't public. The architecture and my role are described below; happy to walk through details on a call.

The challenge
Solar drying stalls when sunlight drops; manual switching to backup power was unreliable and wasted energy.
What I built
Sensors monitor temperature, humidity, and panel output; a controller switches sources automatically and logs conditions for review.
Key features
- Automatic hybrid source switching
- Live sensor telemetry
- Condition logging
